Giorgia Meloni is an Italian woman, who was Minister of Youth in Berlusconi’s fourth government and president of Giovane, in Italy, the youth section of the political party Il Popolo della Libertà. Born in Rome, Meloni is the daughter of a father from Sardinia and a mother from Sicily.She was active in politics since her teens, and she obtained a diploma from the former Amerigo Vespucci Institute in 1996.
She is a co-founder of the Brothers of Italy (Fratelli d’Italia) party with Guido Crosetto and Ignazio La Russa, and on March 8, 2014, she was elected president of the party. She is a member of the Italian Chamber of Deputies since 2006.
